Baratang Island (Ranchiwalas Island)

Our first suggestion of the best places in Andaman is Baratang island. You need at least one day to enjoy the beauty and scenic views of this place. This place is approx. 100km away from the capital Port Blair.

Havelock Island

Famous for the Radhanagar beach which is known to be the one of the best beaches in Asia, Havelock island is grabbing the second spot for the best places in Andamans.

It takes around 2-3 hours to reach here by ferry from the capital city, Port Blair. Not only the most famous Radhanagar beach, every coast of this island has white silky sand beaches, blue-green waters, beautiful corals, cozy resorts and mesmerizing mangrove forests. So, if you are the one who is looking for adventure in Andaman, then this is the place. Yes, you can do scuba diving, snorkeling, night kayaking, trekking, and whatnot. In search of places to visit in Andaman, don't forget to hit the Elephant and Kalapathar beach as well. These are the two most beautiful beaches to enjoy the sunset and the sunrise.

Neil Island

Generally coupled with Havelock Island trip, Neil island is attracting many tourists with its untouched pristine beaches, making it the third must visit islands of Andaman.

This tiny island spans over an area of 13.7 sq km with a few popular spots to visit, viz., Bharatpur Beach, Laxmanpur Beach, Sitapur Beach, and The Natural Bridge. This island is well known for its unexplored coral reefs and white sandy beaches, so needless to say, scuba diving and snorkeling are the must do activities on the island. Bharatpur beach of this island is the hub of water sports activities, located near to the Neil jetty. You cannot miss the magical sunset at Laxmanpur Beach, sitting under huge tropical trees, end your day as the sun goes down to the ocean, away from the material world, listening to the ocean talk to you, a long walk on sand alongside the beach, spending unforgettable time with your loved one; this exuberant experience is exceptional. This is the actual USP of this island and if you are at Neil island, you cannot compromise on your visit to Laxmanpur Beach.

Chidiya Tapu Beach (Port Blair City)

As the name suggests, Chidiya Tapu is famous for the variety of birds you can find. This sunset beach in Port Blair City is one of the favorite spots of our tourists.

Chidiya Tapu is a must visit beach in Port Blair and hence we suggest it as fourth on your list. Reaching here would take approx. 30mins by road. It is 20km away from Hotel Horizon Hues and famous for its natural beauty. However, many visitors come here to witness the birds chirping and soothing sunset. This beach has the best sunset point in Andaman. There is also a mini-zoo close to the beach where you can see fascinating wild creatures.

Ross Island (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Island)

It is another most amazing places to visit in Andaman. It is approx. 2km away from the capital city, that's why it is the most visited place in Port Blair.

Ross Island was the administrative headquarter of British empire, and thereby it is famous for being a historic island in Andaman. Apart from the thrilling histories this place carries, it is equally rich in flora and fauna with peacocks, deers and huge trees surrounding all around. North bay beach is one of the finest places to visit in Andaman and globally. Generally, this place is clubbed with the Ross Island visit giving you the perfect blend of history, scenic views and the adventure for a day. The tourists who plan to have the adventure in Port Blair must prefer North Bay Island as a must visit. Though few of the activities are also available at Havelock and Neil Islands, but North Bay has got to give you more than you can expect.
